General
This notice applies to the services and applications provided by mishashto and, where applicable, our service providers and partners (together, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you (“you” or “your”). We aim to collect the minimum data reasonably necessary to operate our services.
What data do we collect?
Depending on the service and how you use it, we may collect:
- Account and contact information that you choose to provide, such as a name or email address;
- Service content and other information you submit or cause the service to process;
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as an IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, and error logs; and
- Limited usage information, such as requested features, frequency of use, and performance metrics.
We do not seek sensitive personal information, precise location data, or the contents of your communications unless a particular service clearly requires it. Please do not submit information that you do not want us to process.
How do we use your data?
We use data only where reasonably necessary to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure our services and manage accounts;
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems;
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and attacks, and enforce our terms;
- Measure and improve reliability, performance, and functionality; and
- Send essential service communications. We do not sell personal data or use it for behavioral advertising.
We do not use service content to build advertising profiles. Where aggregated or de-identified information is useful for improving our services, we use it only in a form intended not to identify you.
Disclosure and government requests
We do not voluntarily provide personal data to governments or law-enforcement agencies for surveillance or investigative purposes. We do not build backdoors or provide special access to user data. If we receive a legally binding request, we will, where legally permitted, review it carefully, object to it or seek to narrow it when appropriate, and disclose only the information we are legally required to disclose. We will notify you before disclosure when the law permits us to do so, unless doing so would create a security risk or be prohibited by law.
Our ability to protect data is limited to the data we actually have. We cannot promise that we will never receive a request, that a request will always be challengeable, or that notification will always be possible. We may disclose limited information when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users, our services, or others, or to comply with applicable law.
Service providers and international transfers
We may use carefully selected providers for hosting, storage, email, payments, security, and other essential operations. They may process data only to provide services to us and must protect it appropriately. We do not authorize providers to sell your data or use it for their own advertising.
Our providers may operate in different countries. As a result, data may be processed outside your country and may be subject to the laws of the place where it is processed. We use reasonable safeguards for these transfers, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
How do we store and delete your data?
We retain each category of data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to operate and secure the service, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it reasonably anonymous. Backups and security logs may persist for a limited period before they are overwritten.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data associated with your account. We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information where required by law or necessary for security. Contact me@mishashto.com to make a request.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies or similar storage where needed to keep the site working, remember preferences, maintain sessions, and protect against abuse. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser, although some features may not work correctly.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data may be at risk, please contact us promptly.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes to our services or legal obligations. We will update the date above and, where a change is material, provide a more prominent notice when reasonably possible. Continued use of a service after an update means the revised notice applies to future processing.
